Bismillah, ar-Rahman, ar-RahimBy Time (especially the last part of it, heavy with events), (1) Most certainly, human is in loss, (2) Except those who believe and do good, righteous deeds, and exhort one another to truth, and exhort one another to steadfast patience (in the face of misfortunes, and suffering in God’s way, and in doing good deeds, and not committing sins). (3) Bismillah, ar-Rahman, ar-RahimWoe to every one who slanders and vilifies, (1) Who (sees himself above others because he) has amassed wealth and (without expending it in God’s cause and for the needy) counts it (in greedy love for it). (2) He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! (3) By no means! He will most certainly be hurled into the Consuming Disaster. (4) What enables you to perceive the Consuming Disaster? (5) It is God’s fire, set ablaze, (6) Which penetrates deep into hearts (and burns within, as it burns outside). (7) Surely it will close in upon them (8) In extended columns. (9) Bismillah, ar-Rahman, ar-RahimHave you considered how your Lord dealt with the people of the Elephant? (1) Did He not bring their evil scheme to nothing? (2) He sent down upon them flocks of birds (unknown in the land), (3) Shooting them with bullet-like stones of baked clay (an emblem of the punishment due to them), (4) And so He rendered them like a field of grain devoured and trampled. (5)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالْعَصْرِ ١ إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ ٢ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ ٣ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ ١ الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ ٢ يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ ٣ كَلَّا لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ ٤ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ ٥ نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ ٦ الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ ٧ إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ ٨ فِي عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ ٩ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ ١ أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ ٢ وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ ٣ تَرْمِيهِمْ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِنْ سِجِّيلٍ ٤ فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَأْكُولٍ ٥
